REPORT: 2026 MLB All-Star Game to be Played in Philly

Citizens Bank Park has seen many historical moments since its opening in 2004. The ballpark that has held a National League pennant-clincher, a postseason no-hitter, and a World Series Championship should be ready to cross another milestone off the list. Matt Breen of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Philadelphia will host the 2026 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The game will be the fifth All-Star Game played in Philadelphia and the 97th overall.

The league will officially announce the news on Tuesday in Philadelphia. 2026 will be the 250th birthday of the United States, so it is only fitting to hold the Midsummer Classic in America’s Birthplace. The events that will take place should be a great celebration of baseball and history in this city.
