Philly Front Office - Eagles

Conference Championship Best Bets

Not a perfect week like last week but we still came out on top. All in all we added 0.55 units, bumping our win total up to 22.35 units ($223.50) on the season. Our 3-star plays split thanks to re-betting the Eagles +8 after the Colts blew the teaser play. The Patriots were an easy cover as our 2-star play as they rolled the Chargers. We lost our first parlay of the season but we’ll look to hit one this week.

Year-To-Date Results

3-Stars: 13-8 (+11.49 units)

2-Stars: 23-15-2 (+11.86 Units)

1-Stars: 0-1 (-1.00 Units)

Total: +22.35 Units for a weighted win percentage of 61.15%.

Top Play (3-Star)

Patriots +3

Not going to out-think this one. The Patriots are now in their 8th consecutive AFC Championship game and are getting a field goal. Add in that they’re playing playoff choke artist Andy Reid, and the points are too good to pass up. The one thing holding me back on this game is that the last two times the Patriots were underdogs in the playoffs, they lost and failed to cover (both times against Peyton Manning). I like this Chiefs team, and I think Mahomes is legit, BUT betting against Brady is never smart. Take the points on the better QB and Coach combo.

Solid Plays (2-Star)

Rams +3

Again I’m taking the points here. I don’t trust the Saints this past month and a half. Their offense looks lethargic and one-dimensional. Aqib Talib is more than equipped to keep Michael Thomas in check and the massive defensive line of the Rams will do their part in stopping the Kamara/Ingram duo. The Eagles got everything they wanted offensively the first two drives, then their best offensive lineman got hurt, the run game disappeared and they didn’t score again. The Rams meanwhile, have a run game the will haunt the Saints this whole week in practice and I think Gurley is going to have another big game. Sheldon Rankings being out for New Orleans reinforces that thought as well. This game will be close, and the Saints certainly have the experience factor on their side, but getting a field goal on arguably the better team is the safer play.

Playoff Parlay (1-Star)

Parlay the Patriots moneyline (+150) with the Rams moneyline (+145) for around a 5:1 payout.
