According to Jon Heyman of MLB Network, the Phillies have agreed to a deal with superstar right fielder Bryce Harper. The 2015 NL MVP will be making $330 million over 13 years. It is still unclear if the deal will include opt-outs.
In an offseason with promises of “stupid money” being spent, the Phillies have now made the final move that should get them in a position to contend. Harper is the superstar that this franchise needs. With a core of Aaron Nola, Rhys Hoskins, J. T. Realmuto, and now Bryce Harper, the Phillies will certainly be a team to watch out for.
